Mattori® began from a personal search. I was looking for a high-quality biotensor, but kept finding the same thing: mass production, plastic handles, and prices that didn't match what you received. There had to be something better?

That question eventually connected me with a group of craftspeople in India. People who have worked with natural materials and centuries-old techniques for generations. When I first held one of their instruments, I knew immediately: this is it.

The handles are crafted from carefully selected mango wood, a sustainable and warm material with beautiful natural grain. The antennae are made from high-quality stainless steel, precisely calibrated for the right balance between flexibility and stability.

No two Biotensors are exactly the same. Each piece bears the marks of handcraft: subtle variations in the wood grain, a unique color, its own character. That makes your Biotensor truly yours.

We work directly with the craftspeople. No middlemen, no factories. This is how we guarantee quality and ensure the makers receive a fair price for their work.
